The national body of Ronald McDonald House
Charities® and its global network of local charities has
awarded more than $380 million in grants to organizations supporting
children worldwide. Ronald McDonald House Charities® of
Southwest Florida provides grants to qualified charities providing
service to children throughout our local service area. We are
committed to funding solutions that address serious children's
issues. Wherever there is a need, big or small, Ronald McDonald
House Charities® is ready to meet it head on.
Funding
Achieving our agenda for children - helping to ensure strong minds, strong bodies and safe, supportive places to grow - is possible only with the support of individual donors, corporate partners and the McDonald'sŪ family, which carries the heritage established by Ray Kroc, in whose memory Ronald McDonald House CharitiesŪ was established.
McDonald'sŪ franchises and suppliers are major contributors of time and money on the local level. McDonald'sŪ customers contribute millions of dollars each year world wide by dropping change into donation canisters, supporting fundraisers and organizing other events throughout their communities.
But the need for funding goes well beyond McDonald'sŪ. Locally, Ronald McDonald House CharitiesŪ receives strong support from many corporate partners, as well as individual donors providing needed contributions which are directed toward the programs we operate. As we continue to be a leader in offering programs that directly benefit children in Southwest Florida, we continue to need the support that defines the warmth and caring of this community.
