The Mission of The Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children, making an immediate and positive impact on as many children as possible. This will be accomplished by supporting the Ronald McDonald House® of Southwest, Florida, The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® of Collier County, Grants to deserving children's charities in the five county region served by our charity and The Scholarship program providing financial assistance to college bound high school seniors in Southwest Florida.
A home-away-from-home that will enable them to remain together and function as a family in an environment of love, strength, and support...an expression of the warmth and caring of this community.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida supports three programs:
- Ronald McDonald House®
Offering a home-away-from-home for the families of seriously ill children receiving medical care in Southwest Florida.
- Ronald McDonald Care Mobile "Delivering Hope on Wheels," a medical and dental mobile unit providing service to children throughout Southwest Florida.
- Grants To qualified charities providing service to children throughout Southwest Florida.
New! RMHC Scholars Program for eligible high school seniors in Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry and Glades counties. Visit your high school guidance counselor for details and/or download an application here. Deadline is February 16, 2010.
There are many ways you can become involved in Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida. Call (239) 437-0202 and let us know how you would like to become involved.
- Request a speaker for your group or organization.
- Purchase and donate “wish list” items.
- Collect pull-tabs for recycling.
- Prepare a meal for our families to enjoy.
- Become a House volunteer.
- Hold a "penny drive."
- Send a donation in the envelope provided in the newsletter.
- Drop change in the Ronald McDonald House Charities® canisters at your local McDonald's restaurants.
